Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (08:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience required. License: Active license required at the time of submission. Certifications: ARRT, BLS required. Must-Have: - Epic charting experience required. - On-call is required. Description: Locals are accepted but pay rates will differ from posted rates. First-time travelers will be considered. The shift will be determined upon offer. Potential to float between multiple locations as needed. Floating staff to other campuses occurs primarily based on staffing shortages. Staff may float due to illness, planned time off, or case volume. Experience with a variety of procedures is required. Procedures include angiograms, venograms, PICC placements, port-a-cath placements, vertebroplasty, GI bleed interventions, embolizations, biliary tube exchanges, nephrostomy, IVUS, fistulagram, transjugular biopsies, and IVC filter removals. Experience with thrombectomy for neuro cases is preferred. Familiarity with specific equipment such as EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti is necessary. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with exemptions permitted for medical or religious reasons. Nails must be less than 1/4 inch in length, and associates in direct client care must have natural fingernails. Scrubs or apparel should not have agency or brand logos to comply with site policies. No cafeteria is available; a refrigerator and microwave are provided on-site.
