Job description
Chick-fil-A is seeking Culinary Team Members to work in the kitchen preparing food and maintaining food quality and safety standards. Culinary Team Members are responsible for preparing chicken, nuggets, fries, and other menu items according to Chick-fil-A recipes and procedures. Employees operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, and food prep stations, assemble food orders, restock kitchen inventory, clean kitchen areas, and ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times. This position typically pays $14 to $18 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, night shift pay differential, holiday pay, and performance-based raises depending on location and experience. Culinary Team Members are responsible for breading and cooking chicken, preparing food items, assembling orders, stocking kitchen ingredients, cleaning kitchen equipment and workstations, monitoring food quality and temperatures, and following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Employees must work efficiently during busy periods and communicate with team members to ensure orders are completed quickly and accurately. Full-time and part-time employees may be eligible for benefits including flexible scheduling, employee meal discounts, paid time off for eligible employees, scholarship opportunities, health insurance for full-time employees, and opportunities for advancement into Kitchen Leader, Shift Leader, or Management roles. Some locations may also offer attendance bonuses and performance incentives.
