Job Title: Cytotechnologist Profession: Medical Laboratory Specialty: Cytotechnologist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 38 Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Cytotechnologist License: Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP registration) required Certifications: Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred Must-Have: Knowledgeable in all aspects of the cytotechnology department. Description: Looking for a Cytologist Traveler to work Monday - Friday. The role involves reading PAPs and non-GYN slides. Molecular testing on PAP vials and grossing are included in the position. Demonstrates technical skill in all aspects of cytology processing, preparation, and staining. Capable of screening an average of 40 to 80 slides per day. Assists in specimen collection as requested. Maintains computerized patient records. Screens an average of 60 to 80 slides per day. Diagnoses are consistently within one grade of Pathologist or Consultant diagnosis.
