Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist (HRG) will be an integral part of the human resources leadership team. The HRG will be responsible for or assist with a multitude of projects, including on-boarding, regulatory leave request review, unemployment and other duties as assigned. The HRG will also investigate general workplace complaints that do not fall under the jurisdiction of the EEO Office. The goal is to ensure the HR department's operations run smoothly and effectively, to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Working Environment: Hours: Monday Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.
