Maverick Currencies is hiring a Lead Funded Trader based in Sterling Heights, MI. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
Based in Sterling Heights? The trading day lands at a workable hour. Eastern time aligns you directly with the New York open and the London close, so the high-volume hours of the FX day land in your morning instead of fighting your evening. It's a quietly efficient base for someone serious about treating trading as a profession.
Michigan traders in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Warren, and Sterling Heights work Eastern time. The London close lands mid-morning, the New York open at the start of the workday, and the bulk of high-volume FX activity wraps before evening obligations.
This is a performance-based contract role. Traders earn through a profit split on returns they generate — typically 60% to 90% depending on experience and performance tier. Estimated annual earnings range from $50,000 to $200,000+ for consistently profitable traders. Compensation is not a fixed salary or hourly wage; your earnings depend entirely on your trading results. Those who cannot trade profitably will not earn income from this role.
