Job description
Providing legal and regulatory guidance, the full-time remote Healthcare Compliance Counsel will analyze healthcare laws, develop compliance strategies, and advise cross-functional teams on regulatory requirements while supporting the company's compliance program. Key responsibilities Provide legal and regulatory analysis on HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and state healthcare requirements Partner with the Director of Compliance to assess regulatory risks and develop compliance strategies Advise cross-functional teams on compliance requirements for new products and business initiatives Required qualifications J.D. and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state 3-6 years of experience in compliance or regulatory legal practice, preferably in healthcare compliance Experience supporting audits, investigations, and compliance program operations Strong judgment in balancing legal risk and business velocity Familiarity with CMS programs or healthcare privacy law is a plus
