Lead Field Technician Critical Infrastructure

Smart Tech Contracting delivers turnkey BAS & EPMS solutions for mission-critical colocation and hyperscale data centers operating at national program scale. As a Master Systems Integrator (MSI), we unify controls construction (DDC, PLC, SCADA) with software engineering, optimized graphics / UI standards, and program-level governance.

Join us and be part of a team where your voice matters, your work makes an impact, and your growth is a shared priority.

Position Location: Must relocate to or live in Atlanta, GA / Amarillo, Lubbock, Big Spring, Fort Worth, Dallas, El Paso, TX / Las Cruses, NM

  • Lead daily toolbox talks and support weekly safety stand-downs.
  • Verify compliance with JHAs, pre-task plans, energized work permits, and high-risk activity controls.
  • Stop work for unsafe conditions within assigned scopes and immediately notify the Site Superintendent.

Coordination, Reporting & Communication (15%)

  • Provide clear daily updates to the Site Superintendent on progress, risks, and constraints.
  • Support preparation of field reports, look-aheads, and site documentation.
