Controller

A company is looking for a Controller to lead and oversee the accounting operations of a remote organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable / payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

Ensure timely completion of monthly close processes and oversee revenue recognition and inventory costing

Lead and mentor an overseas accounting team while optimizing accounting systems and processes

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, focusing on GAAP principles

Proven expertise in managing accounting for multiple entities and full-cycle accounting processes

Strong knowledge of cost of goods sold (COGS), sales tax compliance, and inventory accounting

Experience in eCommerce accounting and familiarity with accounting systems like QuickBooks Online

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting teams, including remote staff
