Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a member of Videojet Technologies' Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President of Product & Strategy will work closely with the President to define and deploy the business strategy, determine the product roadmap and align the brand marketing and content teams to ensure strong brand competitiveness, positioning and awareness, while developing best in class teams that drive innovation, engagement, belonging and inclusion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy Responsibilities

Lead Videojet Technologies' annual strategic planning processes and specific strategy initiatives across the company.

Define, manage, and track key company-wide strategic performance.

  • Assess current and future market conditions to support the organization in making effective strategic allocation decisions.

Own the process of the ongoing evaluation of Videojet's competitive positioning relative to industry peers and overall market growth and dynamics.

Evaluate white space opportunities for possible expansion through new business ventures, outside innovation collaborations, and technology acquisitions.

Partner closely with the Videojet Senior Leadership Team, Veralto Segment and Corporate Development and key stakeholders on Merger & Acquisition deal flow.

Global Product Management :

Oversee the Global Product Management organization, whose members own the full lifecycle of Videojet's product lines. This includes but is not limited to product roadmaps, obsolescence, product launches, pricing, VOC, overall product health and global communication.

Develop a best-in-class Global Product Management organization whose members sit at the center of Videojet's most critical decisions regarding the verticals we play, the products we develo,p and the strategies we implement to win in the marketplace.

Brand Marketing & Content

Own the global brand marketing and content strategy with focused execution on :

Expanding and positioning Videojet's dominance in the Continuous Inkjet Printing (CIJ) space

Expanding brand and content awareness to increase share of wallet with existing customers

oKeeping Videojet top of mind to maximize social and media presence

Quickly and precisely develop a marketing strategy, build consensus, and put that strategy into action. Deploy market development strategies and tactics with measurable results.

Develop brand marketing goals aligned to the product and sales organizations, increasing our positive brand presence through multiple channels.

Drive marketing investment down to revenue and ROI calculations to determine true impact and allocation of funds.

Manage the marketing budget to ensure expense targets are met and forecasted correctly.

Partner with regional commercial and marketing leaders to drive a unified strategy to increase revenue through marketing initiatives.

Act with a global mindset, incorporating varying geographic needs into portfolio strategy and go-to-market activities.

Own Videojet's presence and execution at tradeshows and conferences, including ownership of internal

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a key member of the Videojet Senior Leadership team that sets the company's strategic direction and demonstrates enterprise-wide, global leadership.

Collaborate with the global Research & Development teams and the Commercial teams to architect a global product strategy and product roadmap that will support the brand position and drive market share.

Drive a continuous improvement mindset using our VeraltoEnterprise System (VES).

Ensure all product launches follow the Launch Excellence framework and meet commercial launch targets.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years in a strategic consulting / new product development role.

Ability to demonstrate NPD innovation and growth in B2B CIJ, adjacent industry, heavy equipment and / or industrial focus.

3+ years in a complex, strategic marketing role with responsibility for content and branding, utilizing advanced digital tools in an organization over $500M.

3+ years' experience in a commercial / product transformation role, preferably moving from a hardware business to a SaaS model.

Bachelor's degree. MBA a plus.

Prior sales experience is a plus.

    The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

    The compensation range for this role is $270,000 - $350,000 USD per year.

    We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
