This tertiary care hospital features 528 total staffed beds and operates a 26-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) that serves as a critical care step-down unit. The facility provides exceptional, evidence-based care using a multi-disciplinary approach for patients requiring more specialized care than general medical-surgical units can provide. The IMCU receives patients from various departments including the Emergency Department, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and medical-surgical floors, with a focus on pulmonary patients and all medical diagnoses requiring continuous monitoring and advanced interventions.
