IT Service Operations Lead
The IT Service Operations Lead serves as a key liaison between business users and technology teams, ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical business systems within AutoNation Finance. This role is responsible for overseeing the operational health of SaaS and on-premise applications, managing incident response and resolution, and driving process improvements in alignment with ITIL best practices. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
Base Pay Range
$95,000.00 / yr – $120,000.00 / yr

Organizational Relationships
Collaborates with business end users and stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions.Partners with operational technology teams, including Application Development, Security, DevOps, DBA, Infrastructure, and PMO.Interfaces regularly with IT leadership, including Directors and Senior Directors, to provide operational updates, report on system performance, and elevate critical issues.Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between business and technology operations teams, ensuring timely communication and resolution of system issues.Administer SaaS applications supporting AutoNation Finance, coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain performance and compliance.Provide hands-on operational support for critical technology solutions across multiple environments.Lead incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution efforts for major and recurring issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate engineering or infrastructure teams and ensure proper communication flow to leadership and stakeholders.Represent the business perspective during incident management and communicate impact, status, and recovery timelines.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational stability, performance, and efficiency.Execute and oversee critical fixes and patches to maintain system reliability and security.Evaluate system operations performance and provide recommendations for enhancement.Develop, refine, and enforce technology operations policies, standards, and runbooks specific to AutoNation Finance systems.Support application and infrastructure rollouts, providing hypercare and post-deployment stabilization.Generate accurate documentation for implemented solutions, configurations, and operational procedures.Present solution approaches and technical overviews to IT leadership and business stakeholders as required.Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge transfer on operational processes and best practices.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Demonstrate behaviors consistent with AutoNation's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and partners.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.3+ years of experience in a technology support, systems operations, or IT service management role.Working knowledge of ITIL or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, particularly in a matrixed environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to manage incidents in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.Experience supporting the following technologies preferred : Microsoft Azure Cloud (infrastructure and application management), Windows desktop and server configurations, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and VDI thin clients, Call center systems including physical / soft phones and IVR, Networking systemsPrior experience in Automotive Finance or a related industry is a plus.Benefits and Perks
