What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential risks and maintain a visible presence. Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and monitor for any unauthorized activities. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors and / or emergency responders as required. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations and daily activities. Support Allied Universal and client leadership by following all site-specific protocols and contributing to an orderly environment. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
