We take care of you, so you can take care of others. VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Radiation Oncology. City : Duluth State : MN Start Date : Pending Privileges End Date : TBD Description : We are seeking locum tenens coverage for a busy two-physician Radiation Oncology practice due to the retirement of a long-standing physician. While we are looking for a minimum of 15 clinic days per month, Flexible with how those 15 days are structured.Scheduling is flexible, and we are happy to work with your availability. However, we do request coverage on the following key dates : - Aug 4-5 - Aug 11-13 or 13-15 - Sept 19 - Oct 16-17 - Nov 13-14 - Nov 24-26 - Dec 4-5 - Dec 25 to Jan 2 - Jan 16 - 23Chart rounds conducted with the Radiation Oncology team weekly. Each day consists of 10-15 clinic visits (including OTVs) with an average of 25 patients total between the two physicians on the TrueBeam for treatment each day. We use EPIC as our EHR, and ARIA / Eclipse for radiation treatment planning. We have a team of skilled Radiation Therapists as well as RNs to keep our practice flowing smoothly. We have on-site dosimetry full-time with a pay-per-plan model in place for high volume times when turnaround time is important. We have hybrid physics with a talented group of physicists on-site every-other-week and available at all other times remotely. We have on-site CT sim, and we are situated as a part of the hospital campus where CT, PET, and MRI are available. We are an ACS Commission on Cancer certified Cancer Center and conduct multidisciplinary tumor boards every Thursday, we would welcome participation from our Locum colleagues. We share a suite with Medical Oncology and Infusion Therapy. 1099 Pay Rate : Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request) Certification Requirements : Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application.
