Job Summary
The Nightlife Manager is responsible for overseeing and elevating all aspects of late-night operations, including entertainment programming, staff supervision, guest experience, and revenue generation. This role ensures the venue operates smoothly, delivers exceptional service, and achieves financial and branding goals while maintaining a safe and vibrant nightlife environment.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Venue Management
Oversee nightly operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor management, and crowd control.
Coordinate with bar, lounge, security, and entertainment teams to ensure seamless execution of events and regular service.
Monitor inventory, sales reports, and operational costs to maximize profitability.
Entertainment & Programming
Execute nightlife programming (e.g., DJs, live performances, special events) with support from booking manager.
Collaborate with promoters, booking agents, and performers to attract high-value clientele and maintain an exciting calendar.
Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for entertainment and special events.
Staff Leadership
Recruit, train, and schedule bartenders, servers, security, and support staff.
Provide ongoing coaching to maintain high standards of service, safety, and professionalism.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture.
Customer Experience
Maintain a high-energy, welcoming atmosphere that attracts and retains guests.
Address VIP and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and venue policies.
Manage incident reports and coordinate with security to maintain a safe environment.
Marketing & Promotions
Partner with marketing teams to develop promotions, social media campaigns, and partnerships to drive traffic.
Track and analyze nightlife trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of nightlife, hospitality, or club management experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
Understanding of event production, sound systems, and nightlife trends.
Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management software (POS systems, spreadsheets, etc.).
