Inventory Control Specialist
Reporting directly to Operations Supervisor, responsible for performing daily inventory tasks including assembly, transporting and upkeep of voting machines and supplies.
Examples of work performed include :
- Performing inventory control by tracking supplies, voting machines and equipment
- Assisting in preparing voting system for use prior to each election by loading election data into voting system units
- Completing assembly on voting machines, supply kits, and storage units
- Assisting with preparing supply kits and distributing them to various polling locations
- Performing data entry for work orders and schedules preventative and routine maintenance as needed
- Developing and maintaining operational routines and procedures for equipment, including organizing, storing, and arranging inventory for daily use
- Reviewing, collecting, transcribing, and processing paperwork and preparing documents for electronic use
- Ordering, purchasing, receiving, and unpacking materials, supplies, parts tools, and equipment essential for elections operations
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance of various machines and equipment
- Aiding in implementing security measures to protect confidential storage of ballots and voting systems
- Assisting with asset management by creating and maintaining inventory logs for machines and equipment
- Compiling and retaining daily, monthly, and annual reports related to inventory and warehouse functions
- Serving as a primary contact for the election judge's hotline and assisting with complex issues from elections judges and staff
- Monitoring multiple departmental email accounts related to elections operations
- Attending all meetings and trainings, as required
- Performing special duties as assigned
