American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in a high‑volume acute care hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Employment Type: Travel Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 (12‑hour evening shifts) Shift: 12 hours, evenings (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) Assignment Overview Shift: Evening/night, 3 x 12 hours Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Aug 3 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Responsibilities Perform routine CT exams for ED and inpatient patients: trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA Operate GE CT equipment (512‑slice, 128‑slice, 32‑slice) independently Document studies using Meditech EMR Work in a fast‑paced, 3‑scanner, high‑volume environment (average 180 exams/day) Requirements Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with at least 1 year in a Level I trauma setting Active specialty experience within the last 6 months ARRT (Radiography) certification required; CT certification preferred Ability to independently operate GE CT equipment and perform routine CT exams for all ED/IP patient types SSN and DOB required for consideration Professional references: 2 (additional requirement if licensed in Florida or Missouri) License required if applicable Additional Information 400‑bed acute care hospital; Joint Commission‑accredited and ACR‑accredited in CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and mammography Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Centers; only cardiac, neurosurgery, and PICU programs in the region Only facility approved for travel CT Technologists in the area Charcoal grey scrubs required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates ineligible) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Pay & Benefits Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
