To support a growing capital management strategy, the full-time salaried Director of Capital Management will oversee capital analytics, modeling, and regulatory insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment based in New York, Austin, or Miami. Key responsibilities Own the calculation and monitoring of NAIC Risk-Based Capital (RBC) ratios, leading quarterly and annual analytics Develop and enhance capital models to project statutory surplus and evaluate impacts of various scenarios through sensitivity and stress testing Serve as the analytical lead for rating agency processes, preparing materials and supporting interactions for capital reviews Required qualifications 7-10 years of experience in insurance finance, actuarial, or capital management, preferably within life and annuities Strong understanding of statutory accounting (SAP) and NAIC RBC framework Proven experience in building and maintaining capital models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis Familiarity with rating agency capital frameworks and regulatory capital requirements Progress toward or attainment of FSA, CFA, or similar designation; MBA is a plus
