You will be the Systems Engineering Principal for the Airworthiness Engineering Team which is responsible for advancing aeronautics airworthiness solutions.

As the Systems Engineering Principal (level 6) you will be responsible for leading the business area through the 1LMX initiative and shaping the design and operational airworthiness certification for the U.S. and allied militaries.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
This position can be based in Fort Worth, TX, Marietta, GA or Palmdale, CA
Desired skills
• Technical expertise to lead a diverse team of system safety practitioners to develop and execute cutting-edge tools and analysis techniques for evaluating both manned and unmanned aircraft.
• Executive presence to coordinate with the Director of Aviation Safety and Airworthiness to establish processes and techniques for Airworthiness internally and externally.
• Technical depth to provide subject matter expertise to support Line of Business (LoB) strategy development and program offices.
• Airworthiness expertise to include extensive experience in associated standards to include United States and Allies Military Processes (i.e. USAF (MIL-HDBK-516), USN Engineering Data Requirements Agreement Plan (EDRAP)), FAA Airworthiness regulations, and International European Military Airworthiness Requirements (EMAR), and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
