Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a leading acute care hospital in Stockbridge, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac telemetry and Med/Surg experience, prior travel experience, and hands-on experience managing multiple continuous IV drips in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for Telemetry and overflow IMCU patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to arrhythmias and cardiac events
• Manage cardiac, anticoagulant, insulin, and vasoactive drips
• Care for patients with CHF, chest pain, COPD, pulmonary edema, DVT, PE, cardiac arrhythmias, and post-cardiac cath recovery needs
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and support rapid response interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital protocols and safety standards
• Float to similar units within scope as needed

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience required
• Prior travel experience REQUIRED
• BLS and ACLS Certifications required
• Strong experience managing:

  • Milrinone
  • Nitroglycerin
  • Bumex
  • Lasix
  • Aggrastat
  • Argatroban
  • Heparin
  • Insulin drips
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring experience required
• Experience with post-cardiac cath and TR Band patients preferred
• Epic experience preferred
