Candidates should live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person court appearances, depositions, client meetings, and firm needs as required. Note: Candidates must have an active California Bar license, 5+ years of family law experience, and substantial family law litigation and courtroom experience. Job Description Manage sophisticated family law matters from start to finish, including divorce, custody, support, adoption, mediation, and property division. Represent clients in family court proceedings, hearings, settlement conferences, mediations, depositions, and trials. Draft and review motions, pleadings, declarations, marital settlement agreements, parenting plans, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, and other court filings. Counsel clients through sensitive and high-stakes family transitions with clarity, empathy, and sound legal strategy. Handle complex asset division matters involving business interests, founder's stock, carried interest, offshore accounts, real estate, and other high-net-worth issues. Proactively manage deadlines, court calendars, case strategy, client communication, and upcoming deliverables. Work closely with attorneys and support staff to deliver efficient, responsive, and exceptional client service. Drive cases forward with professionalism, organization, accountability, and strong litigation judgment. Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Active California Bar license in good standing. 5+ years of family law experience. Strong family law litigation background, including courtroom appearances and trial exposure. Experience managing divorce, custody, support, and property division matters. Ability to independently manage sophisticated cases and communicate effectively with clients. Strong legal writing, research, drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Highly organized, proactive, responsive, and professional. Must reside in the Bay Area and be available for required in-person court appearances, depositions, client meetings, and firm needs.
