Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
  • Valid state special education teaching license (or eligibility)
  • Experience supporting K-8 students in a resource setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse learners and adapting instruction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualized instruction to K-8 students on resource caseload
  • Write and implement IEPs tailored to each learner’s needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
  • Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
