Our Benefits Team in Denver, CO is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Coordinator to join our growing team! The Account Coordinator works closely with group benefits insurance with our appointed carriers, responds to inquiries regarding new accounts, negotiates premiums and terms with insurance carrier underwriters, prepares proposals, and binds coverage by performing the following duties :

  • Delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients by assisting with the Benefits Department's overall workflow processes and providing routine client support.
  • Contributing to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing value proposition to our clients and prospects, achieving operating / margin targets and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the business priorities of Client Service function.
  • Adhering to efficiency / productivity and process standards such as data and documents requirements, timelines, tool usage, etc.
  • Assisting with the team's overall workflow processes.
  • Creating documents, certificates, etc. using appropriate systems and resources, which may include communications, forms, certificates, reports, etc.

About You :

  • Required : High School diploma / equivalent plus 1 year directly applicable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic math skills.
  • Preferred : Associate's degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience preferred. Previous experience managing client relationships.
  • Behaviors : Exceptional organizational skills, proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Compensation and benefits : We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market / geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business / practice area, supply / demand, and scheduled hours.
