We strive to effectively and efficiently complete projects safely, on time and the right the first time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Achieve annual sales targets within the region. Establish and maintain strong professional customer client relations; manage major projects. Evaluate, recommend, and implement dewatering applications to suit the customer’s needs. Create successful sales and marketing approaches to address the needs of each branch within the assigned territory or region. Proactively find, bid, and win new market opportunities within dewatering and water treatment markets. Understand filtration principles, including particle removal, filter media selection (bag, cartridge, settling, sand/carbon, etc.) and system design. Have a strong understanding of job‑related regulatory guidelines in the assigned territory. Collaborate regularly with Inside Sales teams to generate sales reports, proposals, and quotes. Consult with various internal departments and personnel, including Engineering/Instrumentation/Contracts, to design a scope, solution, and job specifics for contracts. Update job knowledge by taking part in educational opportunities, trade shows, professional publications, and maintaining personal networks. Make professional presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain signed contracts for dewatering projects. Work with RVPs, RSMs, Branch Managers, and the sales team through the sales process of any dewatering project, including ride‑along with sales reps, job walks with customers, and any other task associated with the projects. Achieve assigned sales quota, revenue, and gross margin objectives. Enter all sales activities accurately and promptly in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Increase market share among end‑user customers in the assigned territory. Act in accordance with Rain for Rent’s Safety culture and consistently demonstrate adherence to all safety policies and practices. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the operation. Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in mechanical, civil engineering, hydrology, construction management, or related. Minimum of three (3) years of Sales Experience in dewatering. Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience (highly preferred). Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, customer service, and negotiating skills. Experience managing multiple projects across different market sectors and geographic regions simultaneously. Work Environment At Rain for Rent, in‑person work at our offices and/or branch location is a top priority. The role requires onsite presence at a Rain for Rent office and/or branch location; remote or hybrid options are not offered. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and moderate to occasionally loud noise.
