Travel CT Technologist in Evans, GA

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
• BLS certification (or equivalent) required
• At least 1 year of experience in Radiology; some CT experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with capacity to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff
• Commitment to excellent customer service and ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments
• Sound independent judgement and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT exams following department protocols, ensuring quality diagnostic results
• Verify patient orders, gather clinical histories, and assess for contraindications
• Apply safe imaging practices, including radiation protection and sterile technique
• Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to assure comfort and dignity
• Maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and support quality assurance efforts
• Respond to emergencies and contribute to departmental safety and organization
• Collaborate with physicians and colleagues across modalities
