KBF is currently seeking a Manager to join our Corporate Tax Services team.

The KBF Corporate Tax Services group is 100% focused on income tax accounting assistance, tax compliance, and tax consulting. This includes preparation and review of income tax provision calculations, income tax return preparation and review, assistance with day-to-day federal, state, and international tax matters that may arise, and the identification, design, and implementation of tax planning strategies. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review income tax provisions pursuant to ASC 740
• Provide tax provision and tax compliance services for a variety of corporate clients, from start-up ventures to Fortune 500 multi-national businesses
• Serve as the primary client service contact for a portfolio of clients; proactively recognize opportunities to provide additional services
• Manage the delivery of accounting services to ensure technical accuracy and high-quality work product within budgetary and time constraints
• Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on tax law, trends and developments; obtain deep technical skills in the area of accounting for income taxes
• Lead and manage teams of tax professionals:
  1. Participate in the mentoring and development of team members; be actively involved in team recruiting, training, and retention
  2. Review Associate and Senior work before submission to Senior/Managing Directors for top-level review
• Assist in administrative and operational initiatives as assigned by firm leadership

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university & licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent in their home office state; any individual who does not possess at least one of these designations/credentials when their employment commences has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials
• Proven success supervising complete engagements, and demonstrated technical proficiency in preparing and reviewing income tax return work papers in accordance with U.S. Federal, State, and Local income tax laws; advising clients regarding tax strategies; preparing and reviewing corporate tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 standards and other guidance under U.S. GAAP
• Motivated, quick learner with strong communication skills and demonstrated professionalism
• Individuals must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Minimum of 4 years of recent, continuous corporate tax experience, along with a current title of "Manager" or an equivalent designation

The salary range for this position reflects various factors that influence compensation decisions, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, licensure, geographic location, and other organizational requirements. At KBF Advisory, it is uncommon for a candidate to be hired at the high end of the salary range, as compensation is based on the unique qualifications and circumstances of each individual. The estimated current salary range for the Manager level is $125,000 to $180,000 and the estimated current salary range for the Senior Manager level is $170,000 to $280,000.
