Job description
Position: Sit Down Assembler (Seated Work Environment)Location: MentorHours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with an ½ unpaid lunch.
Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position primarily involves seated assembly work, building and inspecting small mechanical components in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and production standards.
Responsibilities· Assemble small components and subassemblies using hand tools and work instructions· Read and follow assembly drawings, work orders, and production documentation· Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards· Package completed products for shipment or the next stage of production· Maintain accurate production records and documentation· Keep work area clean, organized, and safe· Report quality concerns or production issues to supervision Qualifications· Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred· Ability to work with small parts and maintain attention to detail· Comfortable sitting for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks· Ability to follow written instructions and quality procedures· Basic computer skills are a plus· Strong attendance and reliability

Physical Requirements· Primarily seated position throughout the shift· Frequent use of hands and fingers for fine motor assembly work· Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds· Ability to visually inspect small parts and components
Schedule· Full-time· Monday through Friday· Overtime available based on production needs
