Cardiac Pacing Therapies Role

At Medtronic you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You'll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

A Day in the Life

This dynamic position is integral to the Cardiac Pacing Therapies (CPT) business, under the leadership of the Senior Group Manager of Global Commercial Marketing for leadless pacing. The person in this role will concentrate on diverse growth initiatives aimed at boosting the adoption of leadless pacing in the US market, while having the chance to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners worldwide. A creative, passionate, and competitive spirit is needed in this role to ensure the leadless opportunity at Medtronic is maximized. It's the perfect mix of sales, marketing, and market growth for one of the most exciting growth businesses in Medtronic. At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. In-person exchanges are invaluable to our work. We're working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.

This role focuses on boosting market adoption of leadless pacing by collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, our field teams and driving new opportunities in an expanded customer base. Acting as the strategic bridge between the sales organization and internal experts, this position aims to drive sustained growth through best business practices. Focus areas include:

  • Developing and implementing expanded clinical strategy and evidence dissemination
  • High touch sales organization engagement and enablement
  • Customer interactions and demonstration of strong influence management skills
  • Strong partnership with our Medical Education team to drive expanded medical education programs and procedural training
  • Leadership dialogue, presentations (internal and external), and creative brainstorming
  • Adapting and delivering the marketing value proposition for leadless pacing
  • Ownership of advanced data analyses and market intelligence to identify new opportunities to drive growth
  • Analyze and report on market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing strategies
  • Monitor and share performance metrics and optimize strategies

This role offers an incredible opportunity to interact with our field, patients, and customers. You'll be responsible for understanding the challenges faced by each of these stakeholders to effectively position our leadless pacing technology in the marketplace. Additionally, this role will enable you to become a subject matter expert (SME) in pacing by continuously engaging with our research, clinical, field/sales, and engineering colleagues.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing roles, preferably in healthcare or technology (2+ years of experience with Master's degree).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time.

Nice to Have:

  • Advanced degree business or a related field.
  • Familiarity with healthcare marketing compliance and regulations.
