SALMEX PIZZA, INC. located in Victorville, California is seeking an Assistant Manager. The role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, and performing other essential functions.
Training will be provided on the job. Communication skills are essential, including the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers. Essential skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, make correct monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas, sudden changes in temperature, fumes from food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks.
Additional duties include delivering products by car to the customer's door, delivering flyers and doorhangers, and requiring a valid driver license with a safe driving record meeting company standards. The position also involves navigating adverse terrain, carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, driving within a designated delivery area, and walking and climbing during deliveries.
