Project Manager for K-12 Construction Projects
Job Description
Manage all phases of ground-up K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls. Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and school district representatives. Manage procurement, subcontractor buyout, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Ensure projects comply with local, state, and educational facility requirements. Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with stakeholders. Identify and resolve project risks proactively to maintain schedule and budget goals. Monitor quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications. Maintain accurate project reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
The Successful Applicant
Experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction. Proven experience managing ground-up K-12 education projects. Strong understanding of public-sector construction and regulatory requirements. Experience managing complex schedules and multiple stakeholder groups. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost management experience. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
