Under the supervision of the Patient Accounts Manager, the Patient Accounts Supervisor identifies problems and opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies, supports staff performance to achieve production and quality standards, monitors and communicates billing information and updates/changes in a timely manner, participates in the selection staff, ESL assignment, and performance evaluation of staff, is responsible for oversight of billing services which include, but are not limited to: Productivity standards of timeliness in working assigned work queues in the Patient Financial Services department in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Experience with Over/Underpayment required
Experience/knowledge of payer contracts required
