We are looking for a Salesforce Project Manager to help manage the migration of a legacy web application to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex Salesforce projects, including data migration, system integration, and custom development. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager, with at least 3 years managing Salesforce migration or implementation projects. They should have a proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, including planning, executing, and closing projects, along with demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices is required. PMP or equivalent project management certification is necessary. The candidate should possess excellent skills in managing stakeholder expectations and communications across different levels of the organization. Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks is essential. They must be proficient in budgeting, financial forecasting, and managing project budgets to ensure cost-effective project delivery. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required to address project challenges and ensure successful outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to clearly convey project status, issues, and solutions to diverse audiences. Strong leadership skills are essential, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Familiarity with data migration, system integration, and custom development processes within the Salesforce environment is necessary. Finally, the candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Salesforce certification such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator is a plus. Knowledge of additional Salesforce products such as Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or Sales Cloud is beneficial. Experience with third-party integration tools and data migration strategies is a plus. Strong understanding of change management principles and practices. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment. Advanced proficiency in project management software and tools. Experience in training and supporting end-users during and after system implementation.
