TalentBridge is partnered with a leading North American manufacturer and solutions provider serving the retail, distribution, and industrial operations markets is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Product Manager to lead a high-growth product segment. This is a highly visible role responsible for defining product strategy, shaping the long-term roadmap, and driving growth across a portfolio of operational and customer-facing equipment solutions used within large-scale retail and distribution environments. This is not a traditional "maintenance" Product Management role focused solely on supporting existing products. The organization is seeking someone who can identify market opportunities, translate customer needs into product direction, and help drive the next phase of growth for an expanding business segment. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical understanding, commercial acumen, market awareness, and strategic thinking.

Position Overview

The Product Manager will serve as the strategic owner of a growing product portfolio, responsible for driving product direction, roadmap development, market positioning, and long-term growth initiatives. This individual will work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and executive leadership to develop and execute product strategies that improve market share, revenue growth, profitability, and customer value. The role requires someone who understands both the technical side of industrial/operational products and the broader business dynamics that influence product success within retail, logistics, fulfillment, or distribution-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap for a growing product segment
• Define product direction based on customer needs, market trends, competitive analysis, and business objectives
• Identify opportunities for new product development, product enhancements, and portfolio optimization
• Lead product launch initiatives and support stage-gate / Go-No-Go decision making
• Establish product positioning, value proposition, and pricing strategy
• Drive revenue and margin performance across the product portfolio
• Evaluate competitive offerings, market gaps, customer pain points, and emerging industry trends
• Partner closely with:
  • Sales teams to understand market feedback and customer demand
  • Engineering teams to align technical feasibility with business goals
  • Marketing teams to develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
• Support development of sales tools, training materials, and customer-facing collateral
• Help shape long-term strategic plans for a rapidly growing business segment
• Collaborate with global product and sourcing teams to leverage broader product capabilities and accelerate development initiatives

Ideal Background

We are seeking a commercially driven Product Manager who can bridge the gap between engineering, customer needs, and business strategy. Strong candidates may come from backgrounds such as:

• Product Management
• Engineering with strong commercial/business exposure
• Program or Project Management with strategic product ownership responsibilities
• Product Strategy within industrial, retail operations, distribution, fulfillment, storage systems, equipment, or adjacent markets

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree strongly preferred
• 3+ years of Product Management or related strategic product experience
• Experience supporting products used within retail, distribution, warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, or operational environments strongly preferred
