Job description

Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join a highly respected emergency department team in one of Central Texas' fastest-growing communities. This is an outstanding opportunity for NPs and PAs looking for strong physician support, excellent patient flow, and a collaborative team culture where advanced practice clinicians are truly valued members of the department. Why APCs Thrive Here Dedicated fast track environment with a strong mix of lower- and moderate-acuity patients Mentorship and support from leadership and ABEM physicians Collegial, team-oriented culture with excellent APC retention W2 employee position with comprehensive health benefits eligibility at just 12 shifts/month Stable hourly compensation model with predictable earnings Excellent fit for experienced PA/NPs with 1-2+ years of true EM experience Inside the ED Level IV Trauma Center 48k annual volume, ~1.6 PPH 10-hour shifts 17-bed ED with dedicated fast track + trauma rooms EPIC EMR Primary Stroke Center + Chest Pain Center 40 physician hours + 40 APC hours daily A Central Texas Hidden Gem Tucked between Austin and Waco, Harker Heights offers affordable living, shorter commutes, lakeside weekends, and easy access to outdoor recreation throughout Central Texas.
