As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to safely administer medications and provide high-quality care to residents. Your role is essential in ensuring timely, accurate medication delivery and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Administer medications accurately and efficiently per physician orders
Complete medication passes within scheduled timeframes
Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse promptly
Maintain accurate documentation, including PRN charting and medication records
Monitor medication supplies and report reorders as needed
Assist with drug inventory and documentation compliance
Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and state regulations
Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and training sessions
Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification – Missouri (Required)
Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license – Missouri (Required)
BLS/CPR Certification (Required)
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred
Strong communication skills (verbal & written English)
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Medication administration

Skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience
Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Infection control & safety compliance
Evening Shift (Full-Time / Part-Time opportunities available)
Weekend and holiday rotation may be required
