Office Manager / Medical Assistant (Float)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager / Medical Assistant to join our team as a Float, traveling between multiple senior care facilities based on operational needs. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in both administrative leadership and patient care, adapts quickly to different environments, and is comfortable working on the go. The successful candidate will oversee daily office operations, ensure efficient workflow, and provide high-quality clinical support to our providers and patients across our facility network.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for exams, record vital signs, and update medical histories.
Oversee day-to-day operations at assigned facilities to ensure efficiency and excellent patient service.
Manage scheduling, patient flow, and office communications across multiple locations.
Comply with office policies and procedures at each facility.
Handle ordering and inventory of medical and office supplies.
Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage lab specimen collection.
Ensure examination rooms are clean, stocked, and organized at each site.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Travel between facilities as assigned, maintaining consistent quality of care and operations at each location.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with ease adapting to new teams and environments.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in Medical Assisting preferred.
Previous experience in medical office management or healthcare administration strongly desired.
Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license; ability to travel between facilities is required.
Ability to work full-time.
