As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM What Youll Do : + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and / or unauthorized activities. + Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to visitors and staff. + Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to company and client procedures. + Communicate with Allied Universal management and / or client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed. + Assist in access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site-specific guidelines. What Were Looking For : + Availability across various days and shifts + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. + Customer service experience is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
