Job description

Job Description - Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Red River Recovery Center, located in Dilworth, MN, is seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our dedicated team. As an LADC, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse. Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients in need of alcohol and drug addiction treatment. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals. Offer education and support to clients and their families regarding addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention. Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment approaches. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes. Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and training sessions. Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by licensing boards and professional organizations. Stay informed about current trends and developments in the field of substance abuse counseling. Contribute to the overall success of the organization through teamwork and effective communication. Qualifications: Valid licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of Minnesota. Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field. Experience in providing counseling services to individuals dealing with substance abuse disorders. Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Empathetic and non-judgmental approach towards clients.
