Responsibilities Lead and execute research and innovation projects in power electronics, especially for renewable energy integration (solar, battery). Provide technical consulting and expertise for clients—including design reviews, failure analysis, and testing of inverters and power modules. Develop and improve lab set‑ups for testing and monitoring power electronic systems. Combine practical lab work, simulations, and on‑site measurements. Mentor and support junior colleagues, and collaborate with international teams (Latin America and the Middle East). Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Qualifications Master’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering (PhD is a plus). At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in power electronics (design, testing, simulation). Experience with inverter systems, control systems, and lab measurements. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently. Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus, Spanish is an asset. Comfortable mentoring others and working in a diverse, international team. Willing to travel occasionally (up to 10 days/year). Open, flexible, and eager to learn.
