We’re looking for an attentive Machine Assistant to join our Press Department team for a 3 days 12 hour shift within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway. Monitors all chemicals, maintains proper viscosity/PH, mixes inks, maintains chillers, paper roll handling, and consumption of raw materials. Assists during make‑readies, as well as assisting Operators as needed. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Mechanical Aptitude Test score of no less than 38. Printing, general manufacturing, and tool handling experience are an asset Understands flexo/digital printing press manufacturing process Handling 20–25 lbs. anilox sleeves, 15–20 lbs. plate sleeves, 45–50 lbs. pails of ink, and drums of ink up to 650 lbs.
