Job Title: Parts Manager Location: Auburn, MA Company: Bertera Nissan Auburn Job Type: Full-Time Bertera Nissan Auburn is seeking a highly organized and motivated Parts Manager to join our team. The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the parts department and ensuring the availability of a comprehensive inventory to support our service and repair operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts management, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Manage and organize the daily operations of the parts department. Maintain an efficient inventory system and minimize excess stock while ensuring that parts are available for service and repair. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the best pricing and availability. Collaborate with service managers and technicians to forecast demand and place timely orders. Develop strategies to increase parts sales and improve profitability. Ensure outstanding customer service by assisting and resolving parts-related inquiries from customers and staff. Supervise and provide training to parts department staff. Monitor parts department performance and implement improvements as needed. Prepare and manage the parts department budget. Qualifications Proven experience as a Parts Manager or similar role in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of automotive parts inventory management systems. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations with professionalism. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in computer applications including inventory management software. Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive technology or business management is a plus.
