About the Role A 1-year contract assignment on behalf of the client. This is a W-2 position located in Houston, TX 77024. Hybrid role – training period will be Onsite; Monday & Friday work from home; Tuesday‑Thursday in the office. Key Responsibilities Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns, schedules, extensions, and payment estimates following the client’s tax filing calendar. Conduct financial and economic analyses, prepare the client’s financial plans and budgets, and interpret financial reports and tax returns. Research inquiries from government agencies regarding filings, compliance, and other claims; prepare tax calculations to support tax controversy analysis. Conduct tax assumptions in project models. Perform other job‑related responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 2+ years of relevant experience.
