Job Description:TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in night shift its Wellford, SC, distribution facility for an Emergency Services Officer I. An ideal candidate will have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and must give evidence of both. They will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills as well as a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to life safety and assets. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package - tuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, vacation, and holidays.Hours: 12 shifts - rotating week scheduleWeek 1 = Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 pm to 6:00 amWeek 2 = Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 6:00 pm to 6:00 amOfficers primarily work fixed posts and may support additional assignments after completing required training.Key ResponsibilitiesControl access points and verify employee and visitor credentialsMonitor assigned posts, patrol areas, and security systemsIdentify, report, and assist in resolving safety and security concernsOperate security and monitoring systems (e.g., access control, alarms, cameras)Monitor fire alarm panels and respond according to emergency proceduresConduct routine patrols and maintain familiarity with buildings and campus layoutsPrepare clear, accurate, and objective incident reportsRespond appropriately to unsafe or high-risk situationsCommunicate effectively via radio using established protocolsProvide professional, courteous service to employees, visitors, and vendorsDe-escalate conflicts calmly and professionallyComplete required safety, compliance, and skills-based trainingRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent experienceValid state-issued driver’s licenseAbility to complete and maintain annual SLED certificationBasic computer skills and ability to use security-related softwarePreferred QualificationsCPR, First Aid, and AED certificationCompletion of SLED Basics and Fire Extinguisher TrainingPrior security, military, or law enforcement experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to remain alert in a dynamic environmentAbility to stand, sit, or walk for extended periodsAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform team lifts over 50 lbs. using safe lifting practicesAbility to perform CPR, including effective chest compressionsAbility to see, hear, and communicate clearly during emergenciesWhy Join UsMeaningful work that supports safety and serviceTraining and career development opportunitiesProfessional, team-oriented work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
