Job Title: CVOR Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: Washington State License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS for RNs, BLS for Techs Must-Have: - COVID vaccine required - Robotics experience preferred but not required Description: The Surgical Tech will work in a dynamic environment that specializes in cardiovascular procedures. The unit has multiple surgical suites and manages a high volume of cases daily. It is essential for the Surgical Tech to have experience in the cardiovascular operating room. Robotics experience is preferred, with training available for those without it. The Surgical Tech must possess a Washington State license and BLS certification. In addition to daily responsibilities, there is a weekend and call requirement. The position may involve floating between various surgical roles as needed. This role requires scrubbing for various cardiac and vascular cases. The work schedule allows for flexible options, including block scheduling. The Surgical Tech will be expected to collaborate closely with the nursing staff and surgical team. Candidates should be prepared for a high-paced work environment. Holidays will be covered by rotation among staff. All staff will have support from a charge nurse on every shift. The Surgical Tech will work closely with various medical teams and support staff.
