Position Title Sr. Ice Tech Primary Responsibilities Coordinate and install ice sheet painted to NCAA specifications. Perform safe ice resurfacing and maintain electric Zamboni. Provide training to Ice Technicians as needed. Edge ice daily, measure ice thickness, and maintain uniform pad thickness. Monitor and record refrigeration system readings and oil levels. Inspect arena daily and submit work orders for repairs. Direct Ice Technicians, Cleaners, and other University employees regarding scheduling, locker room assignments, cleaning duties, and event set‑ups. Deliver excellent customer service. Schedule Flexible schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Days off: Monday and Sunday. Location: Appleton, Karpus, and as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Ability to follow verbal and printed instructions and obtain identified training. Ability to work with chemicals. Ability to communicate with and coordinate the work of others. Must lift at least 45 lbs., bend, push, and pull. Must be authorized to drive University vehicles and safely operate ice resurfacing equipment. Preferred Qualifications Experienced Sr. Ice Technicians and Ice Technicians will be given preference. Salary SEIU Level D: $18.09–$24.45 per hour.
