Welty Energy is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Distribution (Dx) Project Management team! Welty Energy, an affiliate of Welty, is a professional services company specializing in program and project management, transmission line engineering, substation engineering and construction oversight on transmission, substation and distribution projects ranging in voltages from 4kV to 765kV.
Headquartered in Akron, OH, and working nationally, Welty Energy currently manages approximately $500 million in construction projects for electric utilities in the Midwest and Northeast regions of the U.S. About the Role:
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the completion of all activities for the low voltage engineering, design, procurement, and construction of major capital projects and programs specific to Distribution lines. You will be responsible for medium to high complexity projects and/or programs on behalf of our team and therefore pivotal to our success.
While this role is remote, in that we do not have a physical office in this area, candidates are required to be in Pennsylvania or Eastern Ohio due to required travel to client sites (10-20%).
