Job description

Summary The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking qualified Bilingual Field Case Specialists to support a federal human services program serving vulnerable populations, including youth, young adults, and families. This role is designed for candidates with backgrounds in social work, social services, case management, child welfare, youth services, family support, community outreach, crisis response, or related human services fields. The Bilingual Field Case Specialist conducts in-person field visits, supports respectful participant and household communication, observes and documents general safety and wellness indicators, confirms residence and household information, and escalates urgent safety concerns through established reporting channels. Travel Frequent travel required (75%–90%), including same‑day, regional, and overnight travel. Candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to a major airport. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct assigned in‑person field visits within an assigned geographic region. Engage with participants, families, and household members in a respectful, trauma‑informed, culturally responsive, and professional manner. Confirm whether a participant resides at an assigned residential location and document the outcome of each visit. Observe and document general safety, wellness, and living‑environment indicators using program‑approved procedures. Identify and document relevant household members, contact information, and relationship information as required by program protocols. Support confirmation of school‑related, household, contact, and wellness‑related information when assigned. Use approved tools, forms, mobile technology, and secure systems to complete timely and accurate documentation. Prepare objective case notes, field visit summaries, contact notes, and supporting documentation without opinion or unsupported conclusions. Coordinate with supervisors, dispatch, language access, quality review, case coordination, and program operations teams. Conduct follow‑up visits or support updated address follow‑up when required. Immediately elevate urgent safety concerns, suspected abuse, neglect, abandonment, trafficking indicators, field safety concerns, participant complaints, or other reportable risk factors through established procedures. Provide approved program information using established scripts, talking points, or procedures; do not provide legal advice. Maintain professional boundaries and comply with standards of conduct during all participant, family, and household interactions. Protect sensitive participant, program, and government‑related information. Follow all field safety, travel, deployment, communication, and situational awareness protocols. Maintain accurate calendars, travel records, mileage documentation, communication logs, case notes, and visit documentation. Participate in required training, operational briefings, quality assurance activities, and staff meetings. Travel extensively within assigned regions, including short‑notice travel and overnight travel when required. Perform additional duties as assigned. This position primarily operates in the field with frequent travel to assigned residential and community settings across urban, suburban, and rural areas. Work may involve exposure to unpredictable environments and situations requiring heightened situational awareness, professional judgment, and adherence to field safety procedures. Work schedule may vary based on operational needs and authorized field visit windows. Evening, weekends, holidays, extended‑hour, short‑notice, and overnight travel assignments may be required. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all pre‑employment screening requirements, including background checks, drug screening, motor vehicle records review, reference checks, and other job‑related screening requirements. Employment is also contingent upon successful completion of required federal background/suitability review, favorable credit check, security processing, and program‑specific onboarding before beginning work. Employees assigned to this program must complete required training, protect sensitive information, comply with standards of conduct, maintain professional boundaries, and follow all reporting, confidentiality, privacy, and information security requirements. Employees may be required to sign confidentiality, non‑disclosure, conflict‑of‑interest, and standards‑of‑conduct acknowledgements. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Associate or bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, family studies, public health, public administration, emergency management, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in social services, case management support, child welfare support, youth services, family services, community outreach, crisis response, residential/community visits, human services field work, or similar work. Ability to travel frequently on short notice via air and/or ground transportation, including evenings, weekends, and overnight travel when required. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet company travel and motor vehicle requirements. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in residential and community‑based field environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare accurate, objective, and timely documentation and reports. Ability to interact professionally with vulnerable populations and culturally diverse individuals in stressful or sensitive situations. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards at all times. Proficiency using smartphones, tablets, Microsoft Office, email, and electronic documentation systems. Strong report‑writing, observation, documentation, and professional judgment skills. Training or experience in trauma‑informed care, de‑escalation, mandated reporting, safety planning, cultural humility, or crisis response – highly preferred. Experience in child welfare, foster care support, family reunification support, post‑release services, refugee/immigrant services, victim services, crisis intervention, school‑based support, or similar human services environments – highly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred; may be required for certain assignments. Ability to complete required federal, client, and company training before beginning work. Ability to successfully complete required pre‑employment screening and federal background/suitability processing. Equal Opportunity Statement We are an equal‑opportunity/affirmative action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
