The Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist at NuHarbor is responsible for creating, implementing, and optimizing marketing initiatives in key areas such as Paid Media, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Marketing Automation, Website Optimization, and Measurement. This role plays a crucial part in driving pipeline/revenue growth, focusing on various aspects of demand generation and ensuring that the company reaches its inbound revenue potential.

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute paid media campaigns to increase new leads, MQLs, SQLs, deals created, pipeline, closed won deals, and closed won deals, and closed won revenue


• Create and implement SEO strategies to enhance NuHarbor’s search engine rankings, organic traffic, and closed won revenue driven from organic search


• Assist with marketing automation processes, including email nurture campaigns, to improve micro-conversion rates from lead to MQL and reduce time spent in each stage of the Buyer Journey


• Lead both qualitative (heatmaps, live user testing) and quantitative (A/B testing) initiatives to optimize website performance and increase conversion rates from visits to leads (and MQLs)


• Help construct a reporting framework to drive accountability and data-driven decision-making based on pipeline/revenue


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (especially Sales), external agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve demand generation pipeline and closed won revenue objectives


• Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for potential growth

Your foundation. The requirements for this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related degree
  
  
  
  • In lieu of a degree, we are open to proven success and a minimum of two (2) years’ of relevant experience.
  
  
  
  


• 3 years of progressive experience in a B2B demand generation role where MQLs, pipeline and closed won revenue were the KPIs


• Experience in collaborating with Sales, other Teams in the organization as well as managed outside contractors/agencies to achieve demand generation goals


• Analytical thinker who is also able to communicate effectively about the business impact (pipeline, closed won revenue) of their demand generation activities


• Ability to construct an inbound revenue reporting model that is transparent, scalable, mindful of attribution, and can be effectively utilized by everyone on the team (self-serve ethos – not hub and spoke)


• Strong experience with paid search platforms (Google Ads and Bing Ads) and experience with paid social (especially LinkedIn Ads)


• Solid experience with SEO management platforms, such as SEMrush or MOZ


• Familiarity with GEO and AEO


• Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (GTM)


• Proficient with CRM software


• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Additional capabilities that will differentiate you for this role:

• Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or B2B technology.


• Proven SEO and paid media experience.


• Analytical thinker who communicates effectively about the business impact of events (pipeline, ROI, closed won revenue)


• Experience managing digital event solutions.

Location: This role is open to remote or in-person/hybrid location.

Base Salary for this role is targeted at $80,000 - $105,000 annually. *Salary based on Burlington, VT salary data. Offer is based on candidate geography. Additionally, this role is eligible for the company bonus plan at a 10% target.
