We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact supporting a company that operates across 27 states and processes payroll for over 500 employees.

The Payroll Specialist will play a key role in preparing, auditing, and managing payroll operations. This position reports directly to the HR Manager and works closely with the VP of HR to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities :

Process and review timecards for 500 employees across multiple states.

Prepare, review, and submit payroll.

Conduct post-audit filing and payroll verification.

Support additional payroll and HR administrative tasks.

Utilize UKG Altis Pro for payroll processing.

Create reports and perform data analysis using Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.).

Qualifications :

Minimum of 2-4 years of payroll processing experience.

Strong proficiency with Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Experience with multi-state payroll preferred.

Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.
