SVPP Curriculum Specialist This position is a 36‑month term position with a start in Fall 2026. Requirements and responsibilities are outlined below. Position Purpose Build upon experience from the first and sophomore year of the Sexual Violence Prevention Project (SVPP) to spearhead development and early implementation of the junior and senior year curricula. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to research, develop, align, coordinate, and implement evidence‑based programs and interventions focused on skill acquisition and culture change to increase bystander intervention, utilization of resources, positive relationships, and sexual experiences, using power for good. Key Responsibilities Spearhead development and early implementation of the junior and senior year SVPP experiences to launch the first required component for the SVPP Junior Year Experience in Fall 2026. Collaborate with the SVPP team, Student Wellness Center, and other campus constituents to infuse junior and senior year SVPP experiences into the broader community, including academic infusion, co‑curricular activities, student groups, and other areas. Design and facilitate culturally inclusive training and workshops for a diverse undergraduate population. Conduct literature reviews and adapt new and promising interventions into existing and future SVPP components, ensuring research‑informed and strategically effective programs. Oversee field assessment of prevention and positive culture change interventions, focusing on skill development and behavior change. Ensure all SVPP training curricula are research‑informed, strategic, and effective; expand the number of training options for juniors and seniors over the next 2–3 years. Coordinate with stakeholders (students, staff, faculty) to foster positive relationships and create an inclusive environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in public health, education, social work, social justice education, cultural foundations of education, health education, higher education, health promotion, counseling, or related field. 2–3 years of experience (or equivalent) in learning design, curriculum/program development, behavior change, culture change, student development, skill acquisition, project implementation, sexual violence, public health, or related field. Experience designing and facilitating interactive, skill‑based workshops. Experience conducting literature reviews and incorporating research into practice. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to foster positive and productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders. High degree of flexibility, with willingness to work nights and weekends occasionally. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of experience in curriculum design, program design, behavior change, culture change, student development, or related field. Experience working in a higher education environment or with college‑aged individuals. Experience with student development theory and familiarity with aspects of relationship violence, stalking, sexual harassment, and sexual assault. Experience developing culturally inclusive programs and advocating for marginalized populations (African American, Asian‑American, faith‑based, international, Latinx, LGBTQIA+, Native American). Excellent project management and organizational skills. Training or experience with Student Wellness Center philosophies such as Motivational Interviewing, Bystander Intervention, or Green Dot. Experience teaching or facilitating conversations on identity, bias, privilege, power, sexual violence, cultural norms, respectful interactions, sexual health, empathy, and empowerment.
