Job Title: Fabricator/Welder Location: Tonawanda, NY Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $27.00-$33.00/HR, DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM to 2:30PM About the Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled MIG Fabricator/Welder to fabricate parts and subassemblies for new paving machines. What You'll Do: Fabricate, plan layout, assemble and weld according to blueprints, engineer's drawings and specifications with little to no supervision. Layout, Fit, Tack and Weld all work pieces together. Ensuring all dimensions are correct to specified drawings. Take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws. Correct fabrication mistakes. What You'll Bring:- Ability to read, interpret, and work independently from blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions.- Proficient in basic shop mathematics and the use of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and squares.- Experience safely and effectively operating a variety of hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
